Templated Posts, Custom Posts, and Bulk Payments

Templated Posts, Custom Posts, and Bulk Payments

There were a ton of new releases this past week (even though it was a short week — Happy 4th of July 🎇!).

To start, we launched two massive improvements to posts.

First, we launched templated posts. You can now create post templates to ensure that all of your announcements and posts are professionally written and are quick to draft from previous versions. Write post templates for days off, early dismissal, sick children, or anything else you find yourself frequently writing. We're excited to see what kind of templates you start creating. Share them with us if you want us to add them to the template library that is coming soon.

Next, we launched custom posts. We have had a lot of requests for different post types such as for medications, allergies, daily checks, specific activities, and more. You can now create your own custom posts, select your own emoji, and build your own form to fill out as you create them. We hope that this will allow you to also change the wording and branding that goes with the post types you want to support.

Another big launch this week was bulk payment charging. We heard that many folks end up manually charging parents outside of the normal billing cycle for different incidentals and at the request of parents. We made the process much easier with bulk payments. Select which families you want to charge, how much, and with which payment method, and they will be billed directly through the dashboard.
