Daniel Andrews is the Co-Founder and CEO of Playground, the child care management platform used by 300K+ providers, teachers, and families across all 50 states. A graduate of UC Berkeley's College of Engineering, he previously worked as a software engineer at Brex with prior experience at Slack, PayPal, and DoNotPay. He co-founded Playground in 2021 — inspired by the 250-child preschool his mother, Tamar Andrews, ran for two decades — and is co-author of More Than Tuition and Financial Leadership. Daniel speaks regularly at conferences including the ASU+GSV Summit on the future of early education technology.
