Pineapple Cove Academy - Pebble Creek is on North Wickham Road in Melbourne, Florida. It is one of three Pineapple Cove Academy locations in Brevard County, alongside North Shore in West Melbourne and Bayside in Palm Bay. The academy opened in April 2006.

An academically oriented preschool

Pineapple Cove describes itself as an academically oriented early learning program. Its goal is a positive, enriched environment that supports each child’s cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development, with structured, age-appropriate learning tied to developmental milestones.

Programs run from Hula Babies (6 to 12 months) through toddlers, twos, threes, Florida VPK, and school-age care, plus Creative Clubs, a full summer camp, and a drop-in Pop-In Summer Camp. The academy’s Hawaiian theme carries through to family events like a luau, a Mother’s Day tea, and a fairy tale ball.

Playground Team

The Playground team has combined decades of experience in the child care industry, ranging from care itself to business management to subsidy administration to strategic marketing. In addition to creating a variety of free resources for the child care industry, the Playground team produces Early Childhood Investigations webinars to help child care directors and teachers earn professional development credit and valuable experience. Additionally, founders Daniel Andrews and Sasha Reiss co-authored the book “More Than Tuition: Financial Leadership and Growth Marketing for Early Childhood Programs” and frequently speak at industry events including for NECPA, NCCA, AELL, and soon NAEYC.
