The Tot Spot Early Education Academy has cared for Fishers, Indiana, families since 2007. The family-owned business, led by owner Alisha Ramsey, runs two centers: The Tot Spot on Fishers Drive and The Tot Spot Too on East 138th Street. Together they are licensed for 166 children from 6 weeks to 12 years old.
Both centers are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Families can choose full-time care or part-time schedules of two or three days a week.
The WOW! program, with STEAM and Conscious Discipline
The Tot Spot uses its own WOW! program, which combines research-based curricula with STEAM activities. For social-emotional learning, teachers use Conscious Discipline® and the Kindness Curriculum.
Classrooms are grouped as infants (up to 16 months), toddlers, preschool (2–3 years), and Pre-K (3–5 years), with after-school care and a summer camp for grades 1–5. The day includes outdoor play, yoga, music, gardening, and art, and field trips run through the year. Parents can watch a secure classroom live stream and get updates through a parent app.

Both centers hold a Paths to QUALITY Level 3 rating, Indiana’s state quality rating system.
Programs, access, and how to connect
CACFP / CCDF: The Tot Spot participates in CACFP, and breakfast, lunch, and snacks are cooked on site and included in tuition, along with diapers and wipes. It accepts child care subsidy.

The Playground team has combined decades of experience in the child care industry, ranging from care itself to business management to subsidy administration to strategic marketing. In addition to creating a variety of free resources for the child care industry, the Playground team produces Early Childhood Investigations webinars to help child care directors and teachers earn professional development credit and valuable experience. Additionally, founders Daniel Andrews and Sasha Reiss co-authored the book “More Than Tuition: Financial Leadership and Growth Marketing for Early Childhood Programs” and frequently speak at industry events including for NECPA, NCCA, AELL, and soon NAEYC.
