Building a Strong Policy Handbook for your Child Care
Ceslee Frost, Owner and Director of Little Friends Preschool, will take participants through a step-by-step process of crafting a comprehensive policy handbook to ensure a smooth and successful school year.
Ceslee will draw upon her expertise to guide attendees on how to approach this essential document.
Participants will learn the fundamental elements that should be included in the handbook to establish clear guidelines, promote effective communication, and foster a positive learning environment for both staff and students.
Ceslee Frost owns and directs Little Friends Preschool, a licensed home-based program in Ventura, California (License #566215755) running preschool and Transitional Kindergarten classrooms for up to 12 children. A former elementary school teacher with 25+ years working with children, she holds an A.A. in Early Childhood Education from Ventura College, a B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development from Cal State Northridge, and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from the University of La Verne. She speaks from the director's chair on everything from enrollment to policy handbooks — practical wisdom built from running a program, not theorizing about one.
