Aleta Mechtel has spent 20+ years in early childhood education as a kindergarten teacher, director, and former childcare center owner of 13 years. In October 2012, after living the daily pain of staffing a center, she founded Teachers for Tomorrow, a substitute teacher placement company now serving childcare programs across the Minneapolis Twin Cities. She holds a B.A. in Elementary Education with a kindergarten concentration from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and coaches child care leaders nationwide on building resilient, well-staffed programs.
