November is a great time to teach your preschoolers about Thanksgiving! There are many fun and educational activities that you can do to help them learn about this holiday.

In this blog post, we will share some of our favorite Thanksgiving lesson plans for preschoolers.

TURKEY! Starting off with the obvious... no November lesson plan is complete without a turkey activity somewhere throughout the month. Besides endless turkey hand-crafts, one great way to incorporate education is by reading about turkeys with your kids. After all, what says Thanksgiving more than a big ol' turkey? Corn- Such a versatile subject for a Thanksgiving lesson. It can be used for everything from math to art! For example, did you know that there are over 3,000 types of corn? That's a lot of corn! Use this fact to help your students with math concepts like grouping and sorting.

For example, gather one leaf each on an adventure outdoors, bring them back to sort by similarities in the classroom.
